Who We Are The story begins in the hearts of five men, members of a band of brothers, inspired to join together in a small, supportive community of faith. Like other small groups in various times and places, these men lived the experience of brotherhood in action, learned the power of mutually committed community, shared the rewards of a deeper, more profoundly personal relationship with God. Now, those brothers are giving other groups of men the benefit of their experience and their vision. HorizonQuest is founded on a call to action, a mission call. Horizonquest is a division of the Samaritan Center of the Rockies, a pastoral counseling center founded in 1997 to serve the Vail Valley. The Samaritan Center of the Rockies, a non-profit organization, is one of over a hundred community based pastoral counseling centers affiliated with the Samaritan Institute of Denver Colorado.
